Keith Burton had a gift of tinkering and fixing things. He enjoyed a long career at the post office where he repaired the the stamp machines that were located across the county. After retiring, he joined the Sears team of technicians. After his second retirement, he continued to fix appliances from his home. Soon after, Glenn joined him in the evenings and was trained by his dad after his long work day as a computer desktop publisher and later joined him full time in the appliance repair.
The original name of the business was After Hours appliance service, however after several calls during the middle of the night (one to remove a trapped ferret from under a dishwasher) they decided to change the name to Burton's Appliance Service. David joined the family business while still in high school and even paid half of the costs of a trip to California to attend a training conference. David also has the gift of tinkering and fixing things and started his first business at age 12 (David's Woodwinds Repair) after re-padding his sisters clarinet. He rebuilt and repaired many other instruments for a small music store, in Waldo, for years. Austin is the newest member of the team and came to us after completing the HVAC training at Santa Fe.
